The Xiaomi Mi A3 official firmware on this page will help you upgrade/update the phone version, move from Beta to Stable ROM (vice versa), un-brick or restore your device to its default factory state. If you rooted or modified the system or any other partition of the phone, flashing the Fastboot ROM will overwrite all existing modified system files to replace with factory software.
To ensure that all important data on the phone (like contacts, messages, app data, etc.) is safe, back them all up because you could loose data after flashing.
Again, charge the phone to at least 30% so that the flashing process will not be interrupted by low battery. Interrupting the firmware installation means bricking your phone.
Download either the Fastboot or stock recovery firmware from the link(s) below and follow the recommended flashing instructions immediately after the download options. Do not hesitate to report any broken links detected.

sorry but this so old firmware for 2020 (april)
No, sorry my friend, this firmware wasn\’t posted \’April 2020\’. And if you were patient enough to use the search function, you\’d find Android 10 firmware for Mi A3 here, which is more up to date. Additionally, the \”so old firmware\” is still useful in some cases, and to some persons.
Hello Team,
I\’m trying to install V12.0.4.0 RFQMIXM in my Mi A3 and I keep getting an error message saying \”Update package is older than the current build, expected a build newer than timestamp 1611158112 but package has timestamp 1611152607 and downgrade not allowed.\” I see the timestamp is just seconds away. Can I somehow override by editing any file?
I can\’t flash fastboot as my bootloader is locked, I can\’t unlock bootloader as my device is in bootloop.
Can you please help me with this. Thanks in advance
I believe V12.0.4.0.RFQMIXM is the most recent Global firmware for Mi A3. Can you confirm that you\’re actually running the Global or EEA ROM?
About somehow overriding the timestamp, I don\’t think I have anything to help you with that, at the moment.
If you\’re yet to find a solution to the problem, you can now download the just released Full-OTA update with build number- V12.0.6.0.RFQMIXM from our collection above.
hello can you add eea rom with feb 2021 patch
February 2021 patch isn\’t available for EEA region yet.
35.08 MB, people with working OTAs received it already
Oh, thanks for pointing that out. Do you know the exact build number of the update?
qssi-user 11 RKQ1.200903.002 V12.0.4.0.RFQEUXM
I just added firmware build number- V12.0.5.0.RFQEUXM, with March 2021 security patch and other software fixes.

We already have one for EEA region. Was that what you\’re looking for?
no, need Global version
is it available can u upload it please
Just added V12.0.7.0.RFQMIXM March update for flashing via stock recovery.
thanks for your support. fixed my bricked MI A3 after march 2021 update. follwed instruction in this site to recover my phone with all my data https://glebovdev.medium.com/how-to-fix-cant-load-android-system-issue-8a5b0ead5a15
i just flash a custom rom now i want to flash stock rom which one should i flash and how
If you\’re in Europe, flash V12.0.7.0.RFQEUXM.
But if you\’re in any other country/region, flash V12.0.9.0.RFQMIXM Fastboot ROM.
Note: depending on the process you followed to flash the custom ROM, you might be required to change active partition to either slot A or slot B, before or after flashing. But if you didn\’t modify active slot during custom ROM installation, no need to worry about this information.
Hi all.
I have a question, maybe stupid (this is my first flash)…
¿What is the difference between \”XIAOMI MI A3 OFFICIAL FASTBOOT ROM\” and \”XIAOMI MI A3 OFFICIAL ANDROID 11 RECOVERY ROM\”?
Im going to install a custom rom and i want to download the stock rom in case something goes wrong.
Thanks for the answers.
Pdta: My english is basic, i speak spanish hehe
The Recovery ROM is meant to be flashed via stock recovery. No PC is required or needed for this process. You should use it if you have not rooted your phone and just want to update from an old software version to a new one.
The Fastboot ROM is useful for recovering from/ or repairing a bricked device (doesn\’t boot) or rooted phone. It entirely erases your old ROM and installs a new one. A PC and Xiaomi flashtool is required for this process.
If you\’re referring specifically about the \”Android 11\” tag (a different topic from this), that topic will be merged with this one as the most recent ROMs on this page are Android 11.
Let me know if you got any other questions!
