There will be a new smartwatch from Google later this year, called the Google Pixel Watch, to go along with its upcoming Pixel 7 smartphones. Recycled stainless steel is used in the construction of this watch, which has a circular dome face. There is also a rotating crown on the side that adds a sense of movement.

It’s all in accordance with photos that were leaked a few weeks ago. The “Seamless” wristband, modifiable by Google, appears to be an exclusive product.
Google Pay Tap-to-Pay and Google Assistant voice commands will be available on the Google Pixel Watch, as expected, as well. Smart notifications and a new Wear OS user interface will also be included.

By incorporating Fitbit software into the Google Pixel Watch, of course, Google is capitalizing on its acquisition of Fitbit last year. All of your metrics and fitness goals may be viewed at a glance. As a Wear OS device, the watch will also track sleep and give continuous heart rate monitoring.
In order to prevent leaks, Google announced the Pixel Watch and the Pixel 7 family at the same time today, and both devices will be released in the fall. No other details on the Pixel Watch were provided, although Google did say that more information would be provided in the months to come.
There have been a lot of rumors about the Pixel Watch, but Google hasn’t confirmed any of them. The most recent one claims that the watch’s battery would last between one and two days. Of course, we won’t know for sure until we have further information in this regard.
Whether Google’s first-party Wear OS projects will be enough to revitalize the platform is the most critical question. Samsung was persuaded to switch from Tizen to Wear OS last year, and the company claims to have sold three times as many Wear OS devices as the year prior as a result. As a competitor to Apple’s watchOS, hopefully this will give it a boost.
