Setting up hotspot connectivity on windows pc without using any software is pretty easy, straightforward. Besides, it is important that you setup hotspot on your pc because you may want to share your PC internet connection with another device (phone or computer).
Setting up hotspot on your pc can be done through Command Prompt. You do not need any advanced knowledge on how to use command prompt to be able to set this up. It can easily be done following the guide provided in this post.
HOW TO SETUP HOTSPOT
Step One: Run Command prompt as Administrator (Win X, then select Run as Admin- for windows 8, and 10)
Step Two: Type in these commands and hit enter button at the end of each command line
netsh wlan show drivers
netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=leakite key=12345678
Note: Replace leakite with name you wish to give your hotspot address, then replace 12345678 with desired password.

Step Three: Run this command
netsh wlan start hostednetwork
netsh wlan stop hostednetwork
Now enable Wi-Fi on another device and search for your device. See screenshot below
Then go to Network Connections, right-click on the hotspot you just created, click on Properties > Sharing, then tick Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s internet connection.
