When you are shown the Factory Reset Protection (FRP) screen on your smartphone, it means you attempted to do one of many things- one being that you performed factory reset on your Android Smartphone which is already linked to a Google Account. In essence, it’s assumed that you’re reading this guide because you wish to reset Tecno Spark 5 FRP, so follow the instructions below to procced.

Remove/Reset FRP on Tecno Spark 5
- Download SP Flashtool (v5.1952) if you don’t have it already
- Tecno Spark 5 DA + Scatter file + Preloader – Download
- Launch SP Flashtool, click scatter-loading and select scatter file
- Click Format tab and select Manual flash
- Now fill the following information
set: start_addr: 0x1888000
size: 0x100000
After entering the data above in the relevant fields, click Start and connect your phone (while it’s completely turned off). It should take a few seconds for the reset process to complete, please wait patiently and do nothing to interrupt the process.
Once done, disconnect your phone and reboot. That’s all!
