I had installed this rom and it has no chplay and all google apps and service. Moreover, after intalling this rom then my phone can not access to mobile data (3G, 4G). I am VietNáme and my phone is global version. Could you help to share me the global stock rom ZTE star 1 s2002. Thank you so much!
I am afraid of this rom is china rom only not official rom. Pls check and help for my phone.
Hi Dang, sorry for the issue you currently have on your device. The thing is, the B12 update you previously downloaded is Chinese.
Because of that, I\’ve uploaded the Global version (B06) of the firmware with a language pack to help you fix some of the issues you\’re having now.
Just so you know, in B12 version 3G and 4G was officially removed from the firmware.
Dear Collins Edim\’
I have done follow your instruction to flash the global firmware but it is not successfully. It was error at step run \”ZTE_S2002_Flash_Lang.cmd\” file. It shows in pc window the error : device not found. Now, my phone is at b06 version but can not flash the language pack and still have no 3G, 4G. Do you have the b01 version stock rom for this device? Pls help me!
Sorry about the issues you\’ve had so far. I can\’t access B01 version, but B02 (already added to the download options above).
I think you should put your phone in fastboot mode to flash the language package.
Dear Collins Edim,
So how can we put the phone into the fastboot mode. Could you show me how to do this. Thank you so much!
You can get the phone into fastboot mode by shutting it down, then trying any of the following to see which actually works for your phone:
1. Press and hold Volume down + Power button
Or
2. Press and hold Volume Up + Power button
One of the above button combo should get your phone in fastboot mode. Just try and see which of them works for you.
Dear Collins Edim,
You are welcome. 🙂
As we know, the first time my device was flashed wrong the B12 version rom (China region) instead of global version.
After that you share me the B06 global version rom. I flash it OK but can not install the language package. My phone is still have no mobile data (3G, 4G) and just has 2 language are the Chinese and English, there is no CHPlay and all google apps/service.
Then you share me the B02 multilanguage rom. I down load and flash but it is not successful. And then think maybe this package need to be unzip. I decide unzip it in my phone directly. Copy update.zip file to external Sd card and expedite to update by system offline update (local update). My device star up with multilanguge, CHplay and google apps but still can not access mobile data. Then I go to the mobile setting, mobile network, access point name, choose reset to default. My device is OK from there (can access to 3G and 4G normally).
Pls feel free to reply me if you need other info. Thanks so much my friend!
Thank you, Dang Van Nguyen, for this detailed report. ☺
I\’m pretty sure a lot of people will find it useful. And by the way, I\’m glad your device is working fine now.
Best wishes,
Collins.
