WhatsApp already lets you send short videos as messages, but now the app is getting ready to make them even more interactive. Currently, when you receive a video message, your only options are to respond with text or audio.
However, a recent beta update suggests that sending a video as a direct reply will soon be possible.
This new feature was discovered in beta version 2.24.14.5. While not yet available to everyone, the fact that it's in beta testing strongly indicates a wider release is on the horizon, likely in the coming weeks.
