Microsoft is enhancing the Phone Link feature, which connects Windows and Android devices, with a convenient update. Soon, users will find Phone Link directly within their Windows 11 Start Menu.
This integration means users can quickly check their phone's status and access key tools without opening a separate app. For example, sending a text message through Phone Link becomes faster and more streamlined. The update also allows users to view recent phone activities directly from the Start Menu, keeping them connected and informed.
Currently, this feature is only available for Android devices, but iOS support is planned for a later date. The update is currently in beta testing for users with Phone Link version 1.24052.124.0 and Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22635.3790. A release date for the general public has not yet been announced.
