The shipping of new firmware to Xiaomi smartphones is well underway. As of now, test updates for the Chinese market are being released, while a stable release is still awaited. The Xiaomi 11 series of smartphones is known to have begun to receive official stability at the end of January. The first beta version of the Redmi K40 series was released a few weeks ago, and the Redmi Note 11 series will follow suit in the near future.
According to available reports, the global versions of the first two waves’ flagships will begin shipping in the first quarter of this year. There are no exact dates as the beta test continues. Depending on the development team’s success, the official release device list may be delayed or released early. It should be noted that the Chinese New Year has traditionally shifted the dates. but this was expected as seen and experience in the past two years.
